What is the difference between NGS’ Vegetables and Fruits and other vegetables and fruits in the market?

When it comes to fruits and vegetables, your meals should consist of 70% vegetables that are not over cooked so that they keep their nutrients. Our regular fruits and vegetables are export quality, grown according to international standards, and are GAP certified i.e.: minimal chemical residues.

What is the difference between NGS’ beef and poultry and the rest of beef and poultry in the market?

NGS beef and veal, unlike any others in the market, come from free range and grass fed chemical free buffalos, as well as our poultry which is free-range, plant-based and it is not subjected to any growth hormones.

Our beef and poultry selection will leave you feeling clean and happy, as our farm animals are free-range, chemical-free and grass-fed.

Avoiding synthetic hormones and antibiotics (which are frequently given to conventional dairy and meat animals to speed up growth) means much healthier meat

Raising animals in harmony with nature, and quality animal care keeps animals naturally healthy and productive. As we like to say, happy cows make happy people.

What is Clean-eating, and why should you start today?

Clean eating has numerous benefits other than weight-loss.

Below are five more meaningful benefits of eating clean that have absolutely nothing to do with your size or shape.

    • Better mood
    • Improved brain function
    • Glowing skin
    • Better workouts
    • Sounder sleep

Why should you buy Chemical-Free food products?

The truth is choosing Chemical free foods when you can, and can afford to — is one of the best choices you can make for your family and your environment.

Research shows that organically-produced foods are higher in antioxidants and other nutrients than their conventional counterparts

Persistent pesticides and synthetic fertilizers are harmful to human health, especially as they contaminate our food, air, water, soil and accumulate in our cells causing all different health hazards

Genetically engineered crops are a relatively recent technology with potentially devastating impacts on human health, animal health and the ecosystems. Chemical free produce is not genetically engineered.

Children in particular are more susceptible to the effects of pesticide exposure because they have developing organ systems that are more vulnerable and less able to detoxify toxic chemicals

Kuving's juicer differs from other juicers and blenders as it operates via cold press, it works at lower speeds and gently compresses fruit and vegetables to ‘squeeze’ out their juice, maintaining all their nutrients. While the problem with centrifugal juicers or blenders is that the fast-spinning metal blade generates heat, which destroys some of the enzymes in the fruits and vegetables you're juicing.

    Dairy/Lactose-free

Should you consume dairy, what kind of dairy products are the best?

The best dairy products are full-fat, from cows that are grass-fed and/or raised on pasture. They have a much better nutrient profile, including more of beneficial fatty acids and more fat soluble vitamins, particularly vitamin K2.

Also dairy products from milk that hasn’t been pasteurized has much better nutrients, and raw milk isn’t as risky as some people make it sound.

And if you have the option then definitely go for goat or camel milk.

      Why should you go dairy-free?

Humans are the only species that consumes milk in adulthood and certainly the only species that consumes the milk from another animal. The biological purpose of cow’s milk is to feed a rapidly growing calf. Humans aren’t calves… and adults usually don’t need to grow.

When we’re infants, our bodies produce a digestive enzyme called lactase, which breaks down lactose from mother’s milk. But many people lose the ability to do that in adulthood. About 75% of the world’s population is unable to break down lactose as adults, and when they consume dairy products they get symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarhea, bloating, and related symptoms. It’s also related to increased acne, and increased risk of cancer in some cases.

What is Lactose intolerance and what can you do about it?

Simply, lactose is the sugar found in milk that may be split into glucose and galactose. Some people do not break down lactose well. They may not have enough lactase, the enzyme that breaks lactose down in the body. Or, their body may make lactase that does not work properly. Lactose intolerance may cause gas, bloating, cramping, or diarrhea when dairy products are consumed. There are many healthy and delicious options out there which fall under lactose-free such as lactose free milk, non-dairy creamers, soymilk, almond milk.

      Does NGS sell fat-free cheese/ yogurt/ Milk?

No, we don’t. Dairy in general isn't optimal for health, so the problem isn't necessarily the fat in the dairy, but the dairy itself.

And low-fat products meant for weight loss are generally not healthy because the fat is removed and replaced with sugar.

What is the difference between vegetarians and vegans?

Vegetarians do not eat any animals. This includes pigs, chickens, cows, sea animals, and every other animal. In addition to not consuming any animal flesh, a vegan (strict vegetarian) also doesn’t eat dairy products, eggs, or any other product derived from an animal like gelatin. Moreover, Vegans avoid using products that have been tested on animals or made from animal skins. Dieters instead load up on fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes.

    What is Gluten/Gluten-free?

Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, rye, and oats. It's hidden in pizza, pasta, bread, wraps, rolls, and most processed foods. Gluten is a part of all our diets. It's what helps dough rise and give it that delicious chewy texture but it can be very damaging to our bodies. Gluten is highly inflammatory for many people, and is linked to several symptoms such as digestion problems, exhaustion, inflammation, and even anxiety. This is common in both children and adults and if you suffer from these symptoms, it might be that you're sensitive to gluten. There are many healthy and delicious food options out there that are gluten-free, from fruits and vegetables, to meat and poultry, fish and seafood, dairy, beans, legumes, and nuts.

    What are Superfoods?

Why is protein important and where is animal protein found?

Protein is found throughout the body—in muscle, bone, skin, hair, and virtually every other body part or tissue.
